Confessing the Blues – a blues podcast for dancers

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010

So there was Baby Blues and tonight we’ll be Geeting lucky with Blues. After all the blues dancing I’ve been doing lately I thought I might try and find a good resource for Blues dancers, somehting to help me find some great music and build my knowledge a little. Imagine my coat hanger grin when I discovered this little gem of a podcast yesterday.

Confessing the Blues describes itself as ‘the monthly podcast about the blues music that matters for dancers‘. So far (I’m already three in…whoops) it’s  covered some great music and featured discussions on dance history and styles. Whats more they post the content of each podcast on their web page with links to all the music and events they have discussed. It’s like the podcast that just keeps on giving :)

You can listen or download their past and latest podcasts at http://www.confessingtheblues.com. Don’t you just love the internet?

Don’t forget the Swing Patrol podcast is on it’s way….stay tuned.
