We are pleased to bring you one of the worlds leading Balboa teachers for a night of great learning. Balboa is one of the great old world dances that has swept the world and Swing Patrol London intend to give it a real push this year.
Spots are limited so book your spot now. Doesn’t matter if you don’t have any Balboa experience but you MUST do the first class if you are new to the dance. Swing Patrol will be doing some basic Balboa before this date so watch out for these classes in our weekly newsletter.
When Frankie Manning talked about his aerials his eyes would light up with delight. A wonderful part of swing dancing and this is your time to fly. Give it a go… Peta and Scott have both taught aerials extensively and it guarantees to be a fabulous and challenging workshop.

With so many things out East and the fact that our West London classes wound up straight after our “routine” period we want to ensure you start 2010 on a confident footing. This is an intermediate workshop and a great way to start the year. This workshop is targeted at all new intermediate dancers who were doing intermediate classes in 2009. All welcome!

With our first Dance in a Day workshop coming up this weekend we thought you might like some inspiration! SO here is THE clip of clips, a must see for all aspiring Lindy Hoppers – an excerpt from “Hellzapoppin” (1941) featuring the great Frankie Manning (he’s the guy in the Mechanic’s Dungarees btw.)
We can’t promise that you’ll be this good after a day with us, but hey, enjoy it anyway!
This Saturday sees the first of our Dance in a Day workshops, ideal for rusty dancers who fear they have forgotten everything or brand new dancers who are keen to really get into swing dancing straight up!
The January 9th workshop is now closed for follows and new names will be put on a waiting list. If some more leads sign up we will then contact those follows on the waiting list.
There is room in the Jan 16 workshop, be sure not to miss out and register today.
If you enrol WITH a lead you can still join the Jan 9 workshop.
